Little Island Cree
We are from the Island Cree Nation near Loon Lake, Saskatchewan. As a family group we have been singing for a long time travelling to different communities participating in round dances through out the winter months. "Foremost I pray to our Creator for the songs we sing to bring happiness to the people who hear them, I compose all the songs we sing and all the energy that the group gives to every song we sing, comes from the heart.".....Mr. Clayton Chief

Little Island Cree Singers participated at the World Championships of Song and Dance in Connecticut where they had the honours of being this years Hand Drum Champions.
